Downtown Clinic Pharmacy

The Downtown Clinic has an in-house pharmacy, supplying medications free of charge to its clients. The DTC pharmacy is manned by a pharmacy technician who is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the DTC pharmacy, working under the direction of licensed pharmacists and within DTC policies and procedures. The DTC partners with Pole Mountain Pharmacy and Safeway Pharmacy to fill certain medications and clients are directed there to pick up their medication. The DTC pharmacy DOES NOT store nor dispense any narcotics.

DTC Refill Policy:

Clients can call the clinic any day or time to request a refill of medication. A message can be left at: (307) 745-8445. Refill requests received before noon on Tuesday will be ready for pick-up Thursday from 9:00am-1:00pm and again between 5:00pm-6:00pm. Requests received after noon on Tuesday will not be filled till the following week. Plan ahead for your refills. When one (1) week of medication remains, call the clinic for a refill. Refills can also be requested in person and forms are available at the clinic for your convenience.

WY Medication
Donation Program

Some of the medications dispensed to the DTC clients are obtained through the Wyoming Medication Donation Program. This program collects unopened, un- expired medications originally distributed to other patients and donates them to clinics, such as the DTC, keeping clinic pharmaceutical costs down.

Patient Assistance
Program

From time to time, it may occur that the DTC pharmacy does not receive a certain medication that a client may need at a cost that is affordable to the clinic or its partnering pharmacies.  A team of two patient care advocates, who volunteer at the DTC, secure individual prescription medications from pharmaceutical companies through our Patient Assistance Program (PAP). A client has to meet the criteria set forth by a particular pharmaceutical company to qualify for the assistance and to receive the medication. The DTC advocates assist in the processing of documents that include an application, proof of income, and a written prescription from a DTC provider.
